Studio South is dedicated to training well-rounded dancers. We offer classes in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, hip-hop, and tumbling. Our goal is to instill a love and a passion for dance in students of all ages. Our dancers are the heart and soul of our studio. We are proud to represent our community with our talented students.

children of all ages. Therefore, our program incorporates combination classes for dancers who are eager to be exposed to a variety of styles and techniques.
Meet Our Instructors
Blair Rackett, Artistic Director
Blair Willis Rackett began her dance training at age 6. She trained under several amazing teachers throughout her childhood years. Her performance achievements include dancing in the Hula Bowl, numerous regional and national awards, Broadway tap scholarship winner, and production soloist. Upon graduating high school, she attended Georgia College and State University where she was a member of the university’s dance team. While obtaining a degree in psychology, Blair began her dance instructing career. She worked as a dance instructor in a studio and also choreographed for many dance and cheer teams across Georgia. After graduating from college, Blair returned home and saw a need for a dance studio within the Metter community. Studio South opened its doors in fall of 2004. Since then, Blair has choreographed numerous original works. She has received regional and national choreography awards and has choreographed national winning routines. A proud member of the Candler County Chamber of Commerce, Blair is involved in community enhancement. She has worked with outreach and dance enrichment programs within the Candler county schools system, and she has choreographed several pieces for community events. She has been a board member and talent scholarship sponsor for the Miss Georgia Organization. Blair resides in Metter, Georgia with her husband Zach and her daughters Lily and Molly, who both dance at Studio South.
Brandi Smith – Instructor
Brandi began her dance training in ballet, tap, and jazz at the age of 3. She began dancing competitively at age 7 and began excelling and developing her expertise in tap. During her freshman year, Brandi moved to Metter, where she continued her training while adding lyrical and pointe at Studio South. Brandi began assistant teaching and was soon teaching her own classes. She is currently attending Georgia Southern university, and looks forward to sharing her passion for dance with her students.
Lindsey Miller – Tumbling Instructor
Lindsey Miller is from Metter, GA. She is a Studio South alum. She has been dancing, cheering and tumbling as long as she can remember. In high school, Lindsey was a varsity cheerleader, where she was a featured cheerleader and tumbler. During this time, she was also a part time substitute teacher for the studio. Upon graduation, Lindsey joined the staff as the lead full time tumbling teacher. She loves the students and brings fun and “spunk” to her classes. She is excited to return to the Studio South family. She is currently a student at EGTC. When she isn’t teaching or studying, Lindsey loves to spend time with her family and friends.
